Valerie Rocco, the founder of the firm, was first licensed to practice law in Maryland in 1977, and thereafter worked as corporate and litigation counsel. In 1996, while assisting her parents in locating a continuing care retirement community for them to retire to, Ms. Rocco became aware of the complex issues faced by older adults. She assisted her parents in locating an appropriate CCRC for them, and thereafter shifted the focus of her practice to estate planning, probate administration and elder law. Over the years she has counseled and addressed her clients concerns; such as:
